The Catholic Center at New York University is a ministry under the direction of the Dominican Friars and is part of the evangelical outreach of the Church of St. Joseph in Greenwich Village.

As the home of the Catholic Campus Ministry at NYU, the Catholic Center/St. Joseph together aim to be the spiritual homes for the approximately 18,000 Roman Catholic students who currently attend NYU and the surrounding universities and schools. There are activities and programs which enable our students to put their faith into practice. There are a number of student clubs and organizations, both on the undergraduate and graduate/professional levels. Liturgical and music ministry opportunities are also a key part of our mission, which aims to engender the life and holiness of Jesus Christ in the daily life of our students and faculty. Welcome to the Catholic Center and our historic parish!
