The New York City Landmarks Commission has awarded us a $6000 grant toward the exterior restoration of our landmarked building, the oldest Catholic church in Manhattan. We have a year to raise matching funds, a condition to get the grant. Because the money goes toward the façade (i.e. historic preservation rather than a specific religious purpose), donations may also qualify for employer-matching programs.
